Mike is attempting to capture our Michigan woods in his own expression of true beauty. 
Using discarded stumps and roots from cedar, yew, Box Elder and many other varieties, he patiently hand carves and shapes each item to bring out its hidden essence. The refined pieces he creates are true art, often embellished with Petoskey and other stones collected on the shores of our northern beaches.
