ArtPrize artist Tom Clinton's luminous installation will transform the windows of 45 Ottawa Ave
Tom Clinton's artwork consists of geometric patterns created using traditional printmaking processes such as relief and intaglio.
"I employ a design process that mimics the manufacturing process by requiring conscious adherence to rules and use of tools that regulate some aspect of the production process," Tom explains. "The resulting images - patterns constructed of repeated geometric components - can best be seen as an exploration of the options available within a set of overriding constraints,
where unpredictable and unique attributes assert themselves in a seeming quest to overcome pressures to conform."
